In the evolving landscape of advanced manufacturing, the challenge is not only to innovate, but to innovate sustainably. MULTIMOLD, a Horizon Europe project, fits perfectly within this context, aiming to promote sustainable innovation through the development of advanced, resource-efficient manufacturing solutions.
More specifically, MULTIMOLD focuses on next-generation in-mold electronics (IME). The MULTIMOLD Consortium is developing an innovative manufacturing process for products with complex geometries, based on IME and a robust, weather-resistant material concept that enables inherent recyclability by design.
Syxis, VšĮ, a Lithuanian innovation hub, is proud to be part of the MULTIMOLD Consortium. Our mission is to transform how businesses across Europe transition toward more circular, connected, and intelligent production models. But how?
Who is Syxis, VšĮ?
Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, Syxis, VšĮ helps organizations across Europe navigate the twin transitions of digitalization and sustainability. Its core strength lies in designing and implementing technological and methodological solutions that support innovation, particularly within EU-funded projects.
Syxis, VšĮ bridges the gap between research, SMEs, and public institutions by promoting circular economy practices, digital transformation, and collaborative innovation ecosystems. Through this work, Syxis, VšĮ empowers businesses to adopt new business models, embrace networking systems, and remain competitive in a market increasingly shaped by green and digital policy frameworks.

Syxis, VšĮ' Role in MULTIMOLD
Within MULTIMOLD, Syxis, VšĮ leads the project’s data management and digital communication infrastructure—a critical foundation to ensure that all innovations developed within the project are interoperable, traceable, and reusable. Key responsibilities include: the development and continuous update of the Data Management Plan, ensuring that all project outcomes comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and the leadership of Work Package 6 (WP6), focused on creating communication interfaces with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
This comprehensive digital strategy allows MULTIMOLD to ensure that data flows seamlessly across systems, operators, and organizations, enabling real-time decision-making, predictive analytics, and a fully connected circular manufacturing environment.
